Investigations revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin had taken over two nearby state dachas. The resort’s restaurant had been closed for a private event when the strike occurred.
Ukraine’s military intelligence also claimed it struck two Russian Be-12 Chayka amphibious aircraft in the area. These anti-submarine aircraft are important for Russia’s naval defense. Earlier, HUR reported destroying three Russian Mi-8 helicopters and a radar station in Crimea. Ukrainian forces have increased precision strikes against high-value Russian assets.
Meanwhile, Russian forces targeted Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and the Kyiv region in retaliatory attacks. In Zaporizhzhia, at least three civilians died and 15 apartment buildings were damaged. Rescue teams are working on-site. Ukraine’s air defenses reportedly shot down 132 of 141 Russian drones overnight.
