Prime Minister Shehbaz also met several world leaders on the summit’s sidelines. He held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Other meetings included the presidents of Belarus, Azerbaijan, and informal exchanges with Turkey, Tajikistan, and others. His visit drew praise from various leaders, showing Pakistan’s strong global ties.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and First Lady Peng Liyuan gave Shehbaz a warm welcome. Officials say this reflects the strength of Pakistan-China relations. Overall, the SCO summit highlighted Pakistan’s growing diplomatic influence and regional cooperation goals.
