In a historic achievement for the country’s meat industry, Pakistan will now directly export meat to the United Arab Emirates for the very first time. This major deal marks a breakthrough in Pakistan’s international food supply chain, reflecting growing confidence in its meat processing standards and export quality.
The Organic Meat Company, a Pakistani firm, has officially been approved as the direct meat supplier to one of the largest retail groups in the UAE. The company will now supply meat to all branches of Carrefour Supermarkets in the Emirates, marking a significant milestone for Pakistan’s meat export industry.
The approval came after the Pakistani company scored an impressive 94.89% in an Operational Excellence Audit conducted by the UAE-based client. This high rating played a key role in building trust and securing the contract, which was also reported to the Pakistan Stock Exchange as a major development.
Notably, this is the first time a Pakistani company has received the honor of supplying meat directly to the UAE without intermediaries. It reflects not just the company’s success, but also opens doors for more Pakistani meat exporters to explore global markets in the future.
This agreement is being seen as a landmark success for Pakistan’s economy and food sector. It strengthens trade relations with the UAE and demonstrates Pakistan’s potential in the international meat supply business. Future growth and more export deals are now expected.
As a result of this deal, The Organic Meat Company’s profile has been significantly elevated. It is now recognized as a trusted and certified meat supplier for an international market, which will likely lead to increased investments and further export opportunities.
