This model caters to an increasingly digital and on-demand society, providing businesses with cost-effective solutions and workers with adaptable opportunities.
However, this shift also comes with complexities. While the gig economy enables workers to chart their paths, it often places them outside the traditional safety net of stable income, job security, and workplace protections.
