Sir: The month of Ramzan is over. It was celebrated with the usual fervour and fanfare. Interestingly, most people abandon bad habits during this holy month. They seem more conscious to not gossip or while away time idly. The punctuality accorded towards the five times prayers is notable. Sharing and caring during this month is the characteristic of good Muslims. The philanthropists open their hearts for the poor and needy. Muslims generally share their food in Ramzan. Special dishes are prepared for Iftar times. Some Muslims even go to Mecca to perform Umrah. But the flip side of this narrative is some businessmen hoarded and charged extra money from consumers. They were motivated by greed and lust for money. In conclusion I hope people would follow the straight path for the entire year.JAVAID BASHIRLahore
