CHITRAL: The member provincial assembly (MPA) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) district president, Saleem Khan, said on Tuesday that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government completely ignored the flood and earthquake that ravaged Chitral, during the financial year 2016-17 budget. He said this while addressing a press conference along with other activists of the PPP including Muhammad Hakim, Syed Burhan Shah, Sharif Hussain and Alamzeb. The PPP leader said that the KP government focused on only five districts of the province while initiating development projects. He further said that the roads, irrigation system, bridges and powerhouses sustained considerable damage during the last year’s floods and earthquake adding that the KP government had vowed reconstruction and rehabilitation in the district, but they did not keep their words.
