Martial Law better than democratic govt in Sindh, says Jatoi

Published on: July 25, 2016 11:38 PM

KARACHI: Sindh former chief minister and former federal minister said that martial law is much better than incumbent democratic government in the province.

He said bad governance, law and order issues should be resolved despite of replacing chief minister in the province.

Sindh Awami Itehad Chairman Liaqat Ali Jatoi while talking to media on Monday said that good governance cannot be reinforced by replacing only the chief minister of the province.

Jatoi criticised the PPP and said that PPP of Benazir Bhutto is no more, her original party has been buried with Benazir Bhutto, and present PPP is Zardari league. Sindh government is ruled from Dubai, a person is doing politics from Dubai, should come to Pakistan to face situation, as important decisions of Sindh government are being made abroad, he said.

Sindh former chief minister said that new nominated Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shah was involved in heavy corruption as finance minister, who also released Rs 20 billion for fake schemes of Sehwan Development Authority adding that ideological PPP workers should observe the black day when new Sindh CM would take charge.

He said Sindh government has broken the record of corruption, lost public confidence, citing example of Asad Kharal who was a labourer and vendor, when became a front man of PPP stalwarts and now he is a billionaire due to corruption. He demanded the formation of JIT on Asad Kharal case and exposes the hidden hands.

While talking about the load shedding issue, Liaqat Jatoi claimed that I had put an end to load shedding crises in the country and decreased it from 18 hours to two hours, if I am would be made adviser for six month.
