Our favourite moments from the telefilm ‘Dil Tera Hogaya’

Published on: August 5, 2020 11:48 PM

7th Sky Entertainment’s iconic duo Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi gave us another light-hearted Eid special telefilm ‘Dil Tera Hogaya,’ and it was worth all the hype that it had created.

Following the story about a family living under the same roof who does not get along quite well. The story explores the family bond, which strengthens over time, and there are a series of comical events that make this telefilm exceptional. As the show goes on, we see some extremely hysterical and beautiful moments worth mentioning. Here’s a run-down of all that happened that made us laugh along!

THE MOM-TREPRENEURS — we absolutely loved it when Fahmida and Zubaida did what they were interested in and made the most out of it. While Fahmida tries to make designer clothes by creating replicas of other brands, Zubaida gains audience through her cooking channel on YouTube. Although, it was frequently pointed out how they weren’t good at it, but it’s always a pleasure to see women work towards their goals and have ambitions.

BROTHERLY LOVE — while we have our ambitious housewives struggling to get along, the two brothers hang out together and laugh about the feud. The bromance is in the air, and it’s a moment to dwell on. They are quite calm about the situation at home due to the consistency, and instead of meddling, they choose to enjoy it and let their wives be.

FAHMIDA & ZUBAIDA’S HEARTWARMING MOMENT — the two brothers decide to scheme and make everyone, including Fahmida, believe that she’s sick. She is told that she won’t be able to live long enough, which was part of the scheme the husbands had planned. It worked and Zubaida felt bad for humiliating her best friend, and her love for Fahmida bounces back. We finally get to see the beautiful moment where Fahmida and Zubaida are seen taking care of each other all their grudges have now vanished.

THE CONFESSION — one of the most awaited moments was Roma and Anas’s realisation of their feelings for each other and how the conflicts between their mothers got in the way of them bonding with each other. Fortunately, Anas confesses his love for Roma and the heartfelt moment is to die for.

ROMA & ANAS SCARE THE SUITORS AWAY — Roma and Anas use their scheming skills to scare their suitors away. Moreover, it is quite interesting to see how they came up with worst-case scenarios to disappoint them. Roma comes up with a make-believe drug problem with Anas, and Anas spreads a rumour about Roma’s non-existent disease.

MOM’S FINAL PLAN — Fahmida and Zubaida find out about the feelings their kids have for each other. They decide to team up and make everyone believe that Anas and Roma are getting married separately to two different individuals. However, at the ceremony, it is revealed that Roma and Anas are getting married to each other, which was Fahmida and Zubaida’s plan all along. The show concludes with a family coming together and celebrating their kids’ marriage.

All in all, Dil Tera Hogaya made for quite an interesting watch this Eid, and it goes out to Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi for always coming up with telefilms that double the fun every Eid! So, if you haven’t already, you can watch the telefilm now.
