Wrong decisions!

Published on: July 23, 2020 6:16 AM

Sir: “Wrong decisions by past rulers hurt economy: PM”(Daily Times July 16). I agree with this statement of Mr Khan but, sorry to say that our PM is also on the same path as was followed by his predecessors regarding the economic front. At least, the two years’ pathetic economic performance of the PTI government at Islamabad is a testimony to this fact.

The fragile decisions taken by the prime minister and his army of incompetent ministers and advisors have actually hurt the economy a lot. The crisis of petrol, sugar, wheat, flour, dollar depreciation, and now aviation – all have happened due to the illogical decisions taken by the current federal government.

I think our prime minister should stop blaming previous rulers and try to build the confidence of the masses otherwise, 2023 elections will be very tough to win.
