
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the terrorist attack near Mastung that claimed the lives of Sessions Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar and his security guard while they were performing official duties. President Zardari prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and asked for patience and strength for their families. He also wished a speedy recovery for Judicial Magistrate Tariq Lashari and others injured in the attack. Furthermore, the president said the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain and praised their service to the nation.
The president stressed that hostile elements backed by external forces would never succeed in their harmful objectives against Pakistan. He said the country would continue its fight until terrorism was completely eliminated and maintained that terrorists and their facilitators could not weaken national peace or the resolve of state institutions. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to defeating terrorism through unity and determination.

In a separate statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also condemned the attack and expressed grief over the martyrdom of Sessions Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar and his security guard. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to their families and prayed for the swift recovery of Judicial Magistrate Tariq Lashari and the other injured victims. The prime minister described the attack as a cowardly act against the state and its institutions.
The prime minister said terrorists would never achieve their objectives through violence and intimidation against Pakistan’s institutions. He reiterated the government’s firm commitment to eliminating every form of terrorism and ensuring the safety of citizens across the country. The leadership emphasized that national unity and strong institutions remain essential to overcoming security challenges and protecting lasting peace.
