In a separate statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also condemned the attack and expressed grief over the martyrdom of Sessions Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar and his security guard. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to their families and prayed for the swift recovery of Judicial Magistrate Tariq Lashari and the other injured victims. The prime minister described the attack as a cowardly act against the state and its institutions.
The prime minister said terrorists would never achieve their objectives through violence and intimidation against Pakistan’s institutions. He reiterated the government’s firm commitment to eliminating every form of terrorism and ensuring the safety of citizens across the country.
