If your husband’s back hair has ever got your back up, listen up. A new project going viral on Kickstarter promises to free any man of his fuzz with the baKblade 2.0 – a product that is also known as the ultimate DIY back and body shaver. Created by Chicago-based entrepreneur Matt Dryfhout, the baKblade 2.0 is basically an ergonomic back razor that allows men to reach around to their backs and shave in the shower, without needing someone else’s assistance. According to the Kickstarter profile, the baKblade 2.0 is extremely easy to use, as the unique patented blade cartridges leave a smooth shave and are designed to minimise the risk of cutting. While other options for men such as waxing or laser hair removal are either painful or expensive, the baKblade 2.0 promises that their razor will make the hair removal process quick, easy, pain-free and affordable. Don’t be an ape, shave your own back, the company jokes about the new product. Isn’t it about time you put the ‘man’ back in manscaping? And though the unusual shaver is currently still raising funds on the crowd-funding website Kickstarter, because it has received more than $215,000 of its original $50,000 goal, it will launch on Saturday on the company’s website. The innovative razor, with its ‘s-shaped handle’, is faring especially well on social media, where it has been shared in several public Facebook groups and has also received thousands of likes, comments and shares. “I’d be too embarrassed to buy one,” one bashful commenter wrote underneath a snap of the baKblade 2.0 on Facebook. This thing works awesome! And you can get replacement blades! someone else added.
