KARACHI: An accountability court handed over the Matric Board chairman – arrested on corruption charges – to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on one day remand. Karachi Matric Board Chairman Anwar Ahmad Yousufzai was presented before the court on Friday. NAB’s counsel told the court that a case of corruption and misuse of powers was registered against Ahmad and he is to be produced before the court in Hyderabad. NAB’s council further asked the court to grant the accused’s remand. The court accepted NAB’s plea and handed over the accused on a one day remand.
