In the wake of coronavirus outbreak in the country, the Faisalabad district administration has launched an awareness campaign and set up a mobile squad on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ali. Accompanied by police personnel, officials of the squad provide information to citizens at important roads about precautions as well as the importance of wearing masks. The mobile squad consists of three vehicles on which awareness posters are displayed. Announcements are made by the mobile squad, urging citizens to wear masks and stay in their homes. They are appealed to adopt all necessary precautions to prevent the deadly disease. District administration and police are also releasing a joint video message to raise awareness among people on different streets of the city on a daily basis. District administration and police teams have been mobilized in the wake of the lockdown, while district administration teams teach citizens to take precautionary measures to prevent coronavirus at important intersections in the country. Officials also regularly conduct inspections throughout the city. Assistant Commissioner City Syed Ayub Bukhari and Assistant Commissioner Saddar Omar Maqbool are personally monitoring facilities being provided to the people at Paras Quarantine Center.
