SIALKOT: Education Executive District Officer (EDO) Muhammad Farooq on Wednesday said that 34 schools – situated in areas along the Sialkot’s working boundary – have been temporarily closed due to India’s unprovoked firing and shelling. He said that the Education Department had decided to close 34 schools at Charwah, Harpaal and Chaprar sectors for which students have been issued an advisory that directs them to stay at their homes till the next advisory.
