PESHAWAR: The senior ministers of Khyber Pakhtukhwa (KP) stepped up its campaign for November 2, sit-in and asked the party workers to brace up for Islamabad lockdown. The education minister of KP Atif Khan on Friday said during a public speech to party workers called the tigers of the Islamabad sit-in and lockdown. He asked them to start its journey from native places for the final match against the federal government corruption. He asked the workers of Swat, Dir, Malakand and Mardan to start journey towards Swabi-Motorway-Interchange for Islamabad Dharna. “Workers of the party should reach Swabi motorway interchange as soon as possible with one blanket in hand and some of the food stuffs as the sit-in in Islamabad unlikely the previous one”, Atif Khan claimed. He said that the present political environment of the country and Islamabad suggests that the PTI workers will have tough time and could situation can turn into uneven situation, Atif Khan informed the workers. Singled the workers of pre-sit-in scenario, Atif Khan said the lockdown of Islamabad would be carried out on the direction of PTI chief and no workers of the party would be allowed to follow its own way at Islamabad Dharna. “PTI workers from the KP had played pivotal role in the country politics and this time the sit mean final match at the ground of the Islamabad with Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Atif Khan claimed. Provincial assembly lawmaker Iftikhar Mashwani who would lead its party workers from the district Mardan toward its final destination for Islamabad Dharna also delivered a motivation speech at the different places of District Mardan. He said that almost all political parties of country have extended its moral and physical support to PTI against the PML-N over its unprecedented scam of corruption of his family, adding that strength of 0.1 million workers from the province would reach Islamabad lockdown before November 2. Iftikhar Mashwani also criticized PLM-N undemocratic attitude towards PTI convention at Islamabad and the party leaders unnerved before reaching the date for staging the Dharna. He warned the PML-N government for dire consequences if any misconduct with PTI workers was committed during or before entering the capital and called the Dharna last blow to federal government kingdom. However, he warned its party workers to be cool and wait the orders of the party senior leaders for any making any action once reach Islamabad. Worker must maintain their conduct in the domain of the law during the sit-in and keep themselves away from any step that could malign the name and stack of PTI and its Imran Khan Iftikhar Mashwani said. Speaking to the scribe Mashwani said that workers and local body representative of PTI from the Malakand Division have start its journey to Mardan and final it most probably that we (PTI-workers and leaders) start its journey tomorrow., he said that final decision in this regard would be taken today (Saturday).
