FAISALABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah said that if his party would have stood with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf over the Panama leaks issue, the entire system would have collapsed. Speaking to journalists on Monday, he said that the entry of Qatar Prince in the Panama leaks had raised several suspicions. “Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has never before mentioned the Qatar Prince. Using him to save the prime minister is distressing.” The ball is now in the prime minister’s court, he said, that it was up to the prime minister to show how much he respected the parliament. He said that the PPP was an anti-establishment party and even today it is considered anti-establishment. “Why should the PPP support the 24th amendment?” PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the PPP had left its politics of 90s, however the PML-N was still stuck in that time. “Nawaz Sharif asks his favourites to give statements in his favour. Why does he not clarify himself?” he asked.
