The Brasserie had always been on my go-to list as per the insistence of my friends since the day it opened. Nestled in Mall One, it’s the restaurant’ unique interior that takes you in. Fancy bouquets and parallel wooden bars, with glass windows give a spacious look. Dim lighting and hip music add to the appeal. I decided to sit in the open air where it was a little crowded owing to the winter season’s ambience. I tried their fried stuffed prawns which I would highly recommend. They set the mood for trying out other dishes on the menu. Next, I had their Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo Pasta, Roasted Beef Panini Sandwich and The Brasserie Special Pizza. I ordered the Blueberry Extravaganza and Peach Iced Tea. After a good wait of 25 minutes, my food arrived, fresh and hot. I wouldn’t however, say the same for their pizza. I think it is safe to give it a miss there. It’s definitely not one of their strengths. It tasted great, the presentation was immaculate and the drinks complimented our meals well. The overall ambiance and food was also satisfying. From ‘go-to’ list, The Brasserie changed to ‘will-go-as-much-as-possible’ list. Their food reflected the attention that they pay to detailing. From desserts, I tried their Molten Lava and Bread Pudding. The Molten Lava was not up to the mark as it lacked the moistness that molten lava should have.
