Mostly, every teacher and senior student hear from other students that we always forget the things which we read. It is a big problem which compels students to cheat during examinations, but I am writing this piece to clarify what goes on in a student’s mind when he/she cheats. Our minds are setup to forget the things which bore us. So follow these major points below to help yourself memorise things you read. Firstly, it is certain that we have a natural inclination towards not forgetting what we see in a movie. Even after long, we do remember at least half of it. If we use this technique in our educational life, it’ll be beneficial. We should be good producers. We need to develop the ability to change the written material on the pages in the shape of a movie. We need to characterise the scientists whose research we are going to read, like how Isaac Newton established Newton’s Laws of Motion. We need to imagine how Newton lied under a tree and how an apple fell over him and how he started finding the reason of its fall? Through it, we would be able to store Newton’s Laws of Motion for long and try to watch the movie over and over in our mind. Secondly, after long, we say that this movie is now boring and we cannot watch it anymore. It’ll be hard to even recommend it to a friend that way. The way you imagine the study in the form of a film in your mind, try to narrate that to a friend so he/she can get beneficial information. This way, not only will you rehearse it well but will impart the necessary knowledge over to your classmate as well. According to psychologist, a majority of students are depressed and disturbed and some are vulnerable to diseases, which is only because of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) which never lets students be attentive in class. These two steps are the best policies of getting knowledge and attempting papers. Through these steps, students can rid themselves of OCD. We have many talents, but we don’t have ideas on how to utilise them. I hope you will learn something after following these steps.
