Sustaining a declining trend of the past few months, the number of terrorist attacks in Pakistan fell further in December 2018. Compared to 28 in October and 20 in November, as many as 11 terrorist attacks took place in December 2018. The attacks claimed 18 lives compared to 64 in previous month and injured 32 others, according to the statistics shared by Pakistan Institute of Peace studies (PIPS) in their monthly report. Among those 18 killed in terrorist attacks in December were 11 security officials (8 FC and 3 army soldiers) and 3 civilians, as well as 3 militants.
