The Indian interference in Pakistan

Published on: December 27, 2018 2:07 AM

The partition of the subcontinent triggered riots which resulted in the genocide of innocent muslims and over two million were killed by fanatics while escaping to Pakistan. Justice was not done while distributing military and financial assets. Junagarh was occupied by Indian forces after the state announcement of joining Pakistan. The muslim majority state of Jammu and Kashmir contrary to the wishes of its people, acceded to India under the pressure of Indian government on 26 October, 1947. The Indian army was airlifted to Srinagar to take over control of Kashmir. The people of Kashmir fought the occupation forces which was supported by a tribal lashkar who entered Kashmir to support their Kashmir brothers. When the Pakistani border was threatened, the Pakistan army moved in which led to 1948, war for Kashmir. A part of Kashmir was liberated (Azad Kashmir) and India went to the United Nations (UN). The security council passed a resolution that a plebiscite will be held in Jammu and Kashmir to ascertain public opinion for accession to Pakistan and India. No plebiscite has been held so far and the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir is unresolved. Some of the Indians said that Pakistan will not last longer than six months. This is because of the so called concept of Akhand Bharat (Greater India). According to RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) the parent organization of BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) all that which is south of the Himalayas and north of Indian Ocean is Bharat. The BJP national secretary Ram Madhav in an Interview to Al-Jazeera said that they would like to see Pakistan and Bangladesh reunited with India. The RSS promotes the ideology of Hindutva (Hinduness). The second war was fought in 1965, again on Kashmir. After clash over the disputed territory of Kashmir, India launched a full fledged attack on 6 September 1965, against Lahore and Sialkot. The 17 days of war concluded with a ceasefire on 22 September 1965. During the war Pakistan army captured 1617 square miles of Indian territory thus putting India in a weak spot. To avenge their 1965 humiliation India started supporting separatists in East Pakistan (Bangladesh). East Pakistan was located more than 1000 miles away from West Pakistan and the Indian land was between the two wings. India attacked East Pakistan from multiple directions. Because of its location East Pakistan was highly vulnerable and it was difficult to support it logistically. This war resulted in the dismembering of Pakistan and the creation of Bangladesh. India played its role by arming, and funding the Mukti Bahini. As was confessed by the Indian prime minister Modi recalling his participation in the Jana Sangh campaign backing the rebels in East Pakistan. He said the establishment of Bangladesh was a desire of every Indian citizen and that is why Indian forces fought with Mukti Bahini. During the 1971 war, the Indian army crossed ceasefire lines and occupied four villages in Baltistan namely Chalunka, Turtuk, Tykshi and Thang while there was no opposition. During the wars of 48, 65, 71, the Indian army attacked Gilgit Baltistan from multiple directions. The Gilgit Scouts bravely defended all the approaches against Indian attack. In 1984 the Indian army started occupying key peaks of Siachen glacier (Baltistan) which resulted in a quick response from Pak army which halted the Indian army’s advance.

Pakistan interior ministry has warned the government of Gilgit Baltistan that India plans to attack the CPEC projects to sabotage the mega projects. In the past RAW has been instrumental in exploiting sectarian issues. Their objective is to undermine Pakistan and the Taliban influence for themselves and ensure her accesses to Central Asia and use Afghan soil in coordination with NDS (National Directorate of Security) and other hostile agencies to carry out terrorist activities inside Pakistan. Indian consulates in the Afghan cities of Kandahar and Jalalabad are orchestrating terrorist activities in Pakistan. The province of Balochistan has long since been the focus of foreign intervention due to its location and for their interest. With the start of CPEC India has stepped up its activities to damage it. India is upset over the growing stakes because Gwadar port will have serious implications for them.

Moreover, BLA is an Indian proxy involved in the Balochistan unrest, it was established during the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. During a meeting between the Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh and Pakistani prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani at Sharm-el-Shaikh a detailed dossier was handed over to him for Indian Involvement in the province of Balochistan.  The same was included in the joint statement issued after the meeting. Evidence of India’s involvement in Pakistan has already been handed over to the United Nation by Pakistan. The arrest of Kulbhushan Jadhav from Balochistan proves India’s involvement in subversive and terrorist activities in Balochistan. Indian media poisons the public’s mind against Pakistan on a regular basis. There are over 10000 troll accounts spreading propaganda against pak army and Pakistan. There are anti army tweets but one has to see who is retweeting them. The Indian hybrid strategy is very clear that is continued ceasefire violations and blaming it on Pakistan, branding Pakistan as a state sponsoring terrorism in the region. Pakistan’s army chief has already warned of a hybrid war being imposed on Pakistan to internally weaken it while addressing a parade in Kakul. He added that they cannot beat us fair and square therefore subject us to a cruel, evil and protracted hybrid war. India is continuously violating ceasefire agreements by resorting to unprovoked firing along Line of Control (LOC) and the Working Boundary (WB). The Indian army is targeting innocent citizen by design while pak army respond and target enemies bunkers and positions. This year alone 55 civilian martyred due to Indian firing.

The muslim majority state of Jammu and Kashmir contrary to the wishes of its people, acceded to India under the pressure of the Indian government on 26 October, 1947

Furthermore, the BJP spearheaded by the RSS is trying to transform India into a purely hindu state where there is no place for other minorities. The chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has started replacing the muslim names of cities for centuries by hindu names. Allahabad has been renamed as Pragagray and Faizabad as Ayodhya. They are also considering renaming Ahmedabad as Karnavati and Hyderabad as Bhagyanagar. They also intend to change the names of Sikandrabad and Karimnagar. The Rajasthan government is planning to change the names of 27 muslim named villages as well. Muslims ruled India over 1000 years, leaving a deep everlasting impression on the method of administration, art, architecture, literature, music, manners and way of living of the country. India is now resorting to use terrorism and proxies against Pakistan after realizing that conventional war is inconceivable due to nuclear capabilities. India has also launched a water offensive against Pakistan by constructing dams contrary to Indus water treaty. The former US secretary defense senator Chuck Hagel has on record said that India has over the years financed terrorism in Pakistan from across the border while speaking at Cameron University in Oklahoma in 2011. He further added that India is using Afghanistan as a second front against Pakistan.

Thus, the need of the hour is to protect our national ideology. Despite attacks from all sides Pakistan cannot be defeated. The father of the nation rightly said that there is no power on earth that can undo Pakistan.
