LAHORE: Former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram on Tuesday said that Sarfraz Ahmed should continue captaining the national side in all three formats of the game. While speaking to media in Multan, when one of the reporters asked Akram what his position was on Shahid Afridi’s comments when he said that Sarfraz should leave Test captaincy and focus only on one-day internationals and T20s, Akram replied: “I have been hearing about this for the last month or two. If not Sarfraz then who? Somebody give me a name of who would replace Sarfraz. There are no Imran Khans or Javed Miandads waiting in line to replace him. Sarfraz is playing good cricket. The upcoming tour to South Africa will be very challenging,” he added. Published in Daily Times, December 19th2018.
