GUYANA: Pakistan Women cricket team captain Javeria Khan scored 74 out of 52 balls which resulted in Pakistan’s first win of the ICC Women’s World T20 2018 in West Indies on Tuesday. Pakistan defeated Irland with a 38-run at the Providence Stadium. Batting first, the women in green managed to score a total of 139 for 6 before an all-round bowling effort turned the chase into a no-show. However, when Pakistan’s Nashra Sandhu started bowling Shillington failed to maintain her momentum. Pakistan had lost their opening game of the tournament by 52 runs to Australia and then their second match to India by seven wickets. Pakistan will be facing New Zealand in the next match on November 15.
