Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) lawmaker Haleem Adil Sheikh said that the 18th Amendment was passed to strengthen the provinces and not to strengthen the corruption mafia and hide their crimes. Addressing a press conference at the residence of PTI leader Inayat Rind, Haleem Adil Sheikh said that no one would be allowed to loot and plunder the resources of the country. He said that billions of rupees in Sindh had been embezzled by the corruption mafia of Sindh. He said the entities like Omni Group were benefiting at the cost of education and healthcare in Sindh. The PTI leader said that corrupt leaders had embezzled education, healthcare and communication funds. He said that more than 600 children had already died because of malnutrition. He said a cheque of Rs5 Crore was issued by Oasis Company to aowned by Zardari. He claimed that as many as 562 corrupt officers of Sindh had already struck plea bargaining deals with the NAB and re-joined their posts. He said the corrupt ministers of Sindh government were busy in getting protective bails to save them from being arrested by the NAB. He said soon Zardari and company would be behind the bars. He said the survival of Zardari and company depended on Anwar Majeed. He said whenever the noose was tightened around Anwar Majeed, Zardariheld press conferences.He said the puppet rulers should forget that they would silence him with the fake cases. He said if injustice is meted out anywhere in Sindh, Haleem Adil would reach there. Lambasting Barrister WahabMurtaza, Haleem Adil Sheikh said that he followed script given to him by his masters. He said Anwar Majeed was made virtually the viceroy of Sindh, and the ‘aunty-corruption’ had handed over whole Sindh to him as fiefdom. He said that Bilawal House was being run with the money of theft. He claimed funds of billions of rupees meant for the people of Sindh were stolen by the PPP leaders. He said the people of Sindh would not forgive these thieves. Haleem Adil Sheikh said that the Zardari League had looted and plundered Sindh province. “The people of Sindh do not get any facilities and their children are dying of hunger and diseases,” he added. He said that the people of Thar were still living in dark ages. He said soon the ‘thief ministers’ of Sindh would be in jail. He said soon a big change would be witnessed in Sindh also. Separately, Haleem Adil Sheikh offered condolence in Nawabshah to PTI leader AyubShar on the demise of his son. He also offered condolences in Village KhudaBuxShar.
