Published on: October 21, 2018 5:07 AM

In the context of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) organised a free medical camp in collaboration with Attock Hospital (Pvt) Ltd and Attock Sahara Foundation on Saturday at ARL Elliot Club Morgah, inaugurated by ARL Operations DGM Ejaz Husain Randhawa.

The basic objective of the said activity is to provide quality healthcare facility to financially compromised segments of Morgah, Kotha Kalan and the adjacent community. All events planned for ARL-Free Medical Camp were conducted smoothly and in an organised manner.

The outcome of this Free Medical Camp was extremely encouraging as a total of 1,822 patients were seen. Visiting consultants like gynecologists, dermatologists, pediatricians, ear, nose, throat specialists, medical specialists, general surgeons and orthopedic surgeons offered voluntary services. Patients were given free medicine which were arranged by donations from Attock Sahara Foundation and pharmaceutical companies.

Apart from basic laboratory tests on which discounts were given, special arrangements were made to carry out blood sugar tests, hemoglobin, uric acid, cholesterol and a specialised test of Bone Mineral Density with collaboration of pharmaceutical companies free of cost.
