Human rights and political activists and locals staged a protest demonstration and observed hunger strike outside the Dadu press club on Saturday to protest against the prevailing corruption in the office of sub-registrar Dadu. Qaim Ali Syal, one of the protestor, said that the officials of registrar office were not entering into record the documents related to the sale and purchase of properties without bribe. Another protestor, Mohammad Rajib Shahani, said that the rates were fixed at the office of sub-registrar Dadu to enter the documents related to property into the official record. The protestors demanded from the Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, to direct the chairman anti-corruption and police officials to take action against sub-registrar Dadu. Furqan Kaboro, another protestor, warned that if the action would not be taken against sub-registrar Dadu, they would continue with their struggle and protests.
