Bologna coach Filippo Inzaghi on Wednesday said Italian champions Juventus are the best team in Europe because they have Cristiano Ronaldo.
Speaking to the press before Bologna’s Italian Serie A fixture against Juventus, Inzaghi was full of praise for the Portuguese superstar.
Inzaghi said that Juventus have been dominating Italian football for so long and that they were so close to being the European champions. “Cristiano’s addition to an already dominant Juventus makes them the strongest team in Europe.”
“As I said before, we’ll need to be perfect against Juventus. We hope to surprise everyone as it happened against Roma. We did it once, so now we can repeat it.”
Cristiano Ronaldo scored his debut goal for Juventus last weekend against Sassuolo as his team beat the visitors 2-1. He opened his scoring with the simplest of tap-ins, while he doubled his tally shortly after his first goal to make his mark on the Serie A.
