DUBAI: Middle-order batsman Babar Azam is confident that he will be able to implement his natural game against arch-rivals India when the two teams face each other on September 19. Speaking to the media in Dubai, Babar Azam said that he will play his natural game against India without any added pressure, adding that the green-team would do its best to take advantage of Indian skipper Virat Kohli‘s absence. He, however, continued that despite Kohli’s not featuring in the Asia Cup 2018, Indian batting line-up is stacked and that keeping a check on Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rohit Sharma would be vital for Pakistan. Babar said that it is possible that, including the final, Pakistan and India can meet thrice during the Asia Cup 2018. “In circumstances where bilateral series is not a possibility, such an opportunity should be made the most of since Pak-India fixtures are always exciting for the world,” he said. The 23-year-old said the team is fully focused on the opening fixture against Hong Kong. He said that every team in the tournament is strong and that the green-team will have to one step at a time. Pakistan will face Hong Kong at 4:30pm Pakistan time later today.
