KHAIRPUR: Five candidates of Mutihida Majlis-e-Amal Party (MMAP) on Sunday announced to withdraw from contesting election in favour of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) candidates during a press conference held on Sunday in Khairpur. According to details, Molana Mir Muhammad Meerak candidate for NA-208 withdrew in favour of GDA candidate and former Sindh chief minister Syed Ghous Ali Shah while Molana Abdul Haq Lashari candidate for NA-209 withdrew in favour of GDA candidate Pir Sadarauddin Shah Rashdi. Meanwhile, Molana Muhammad Ramzan Phulpoto candidate for NA-210 withdrew in favour of GDA candidate Sayed Kazim Ali Shah, Hafiz Abdul Haleem candidate for PS -26 withdrew in favour of GDA candidate Lal Abdul Ghaffar Shaikh and Molana Abdullah Abbasi candidate for PS-27 withdrew in favour of GDA candidate Mir Shah Nawaz Khan Talpur.
