Punjab Caretaker Minister for Information Ahmed Waqas Riaz has said that on the directions of the caretaker Punjab chief minister, more transfer and postings would be made in Punjab, soon. In a statement on Monday, Ahmed Waqas Riaz told that those who were posted against merit would be in the list to be changed. He said that in these departments, the Excise Department would also be included for reshuffling. The provincial minister said that these transfers are aimed at ensuring the transparency of the general elections. He said that the directions given by the Election Commission of Pakistan would be followed in letter and spirit, adding that the incumbent caretaker government of Punjab was implementing all rules and regulations and no violation would be tolerated.
