QAT demands to arrest killers of Ahad Ali Abbasi

Published on: May 6, 2018 2:42 AM

LARKANA: Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT) led a rally on Saturday from Jinnah Bagh and held a demonstration in front of the local press club against failure of the police to arrest murderers of 17-year-old Ahad Ali Abbasi, a student of Bachelor of Science.

The participants carrying party flags and banners, chanted slogans against the district administration over its failure to arrest the killers.

Advocate Jamil Memon, Inayat Lashari, Shabir Jatoi, Inayat Tunio, Irum Abbas Solangi and others, while talking to media, outlined the declining law and order situation of Larkana and called it as ‘worsened’.

“Killings of artist Samina Sindhu, Saima Jarwar and Ahad Abbasi are a vivid proof of lawlessness, disorder and misrule in the region,” they added.

They claimed that Sindh has been devastated by rampant corruption of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

“People have identified so-called champions of democracy,” they said.

They demanded Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) to take notice of the incident and threatened to stage protests across Sindh, if killers of Ahad were not arrested.
