SHIKARPUR: All Sindh Treasury Welfare Society (ASTWS) on Friday held an emergency meeting at the district accounts office of Shikarpur.
The ASTWS chairman Jameel Ahmed, the vice-chairman Noor Nawaz, Zulfiqar Baloch, Vice-president Hamid Ali, general secretary Gul Munir Mirani and others participated in the meeting.
The meeting achieved consensus for marching to Karachi Press Club as a protest if their demands were not met.
The demands include restoration of treasury allowance, deceased quota restoration, restoration of their service structure and time scale, allotment of accommodation to the treasury officers and up-gradation of the post of data processing assistant (DPA), and sub-accountant.
Numbers of employees were also present at the meeting.
