LARKANA: Senior Superintendent of Police Tanveer Tunio has said that sections from the anti-terrorism act have been added to the FIR registered in Samina Sindhu’s murder case. He has said that a team has been constituted to track down the suspects. Speaking to the media on Friday, the SSP said justice will be provided to the heirs of the deceased artist, adding that the police are probing the incident from different angles. He said when investigation is completed details will be made public. SSP Tunio said two other nominated accused would soon be arrested, currently the main accused Tariq Jatoi is being interrogated. Ashiq Samo, husband of the deceased artist, said that the man who provided pistol to main accused has not yet been arrested. He said he wasn’t aware of the name of the accomplice but he was sure that his caste was shar. He demanded that all accomplices should be brought to justice. Samo said he was being harassed and was receiving threats but he will not compromise. He demanded protection from the police and said that investigation should be expedited in the case. Meanwhile, the police produced main accused Tariq Jatoi in the Chandka Hospital where his blood samples were taken for analysis whether he was drunk at the time of firing. The samples will be sent to Chemical Laboratory, Rohri. On the hand, people from different walks of life continued to visit the residence of the deceased artist to offer their condolences.
