ISLAMABAD: Police in Dera Ismail Khan arrested a man for selling four young girls to a local gang of the district. Police also arrested members of the gang. The reason behind the issue was poverty as the accused confessed to police. Saadullah Khan, a local resident of Bannu, took his two teenage daughters and two nieces Saadia, Gulmina, Romesa and Basrana with an alleged intention to sell them to a man identified as Fati Sher who is a resident of Kech area of Dera Ismail Khan and is said to be the head of the gang. Police raided the house on the spot where the deal was being fixed and arrested seven persons including Saadullah and his gang members. Published in Daily Times, March 13th 2018.
