DADU: Famous German scholar Friedrich Christian Bhomler said that there have been lots of opportunities for people to start their own businesses but due to shortage of ideas, the same people have failed to successfully become entrepreneurs. He said that there are two kinds of entrepreneurs – in the first category, there are people who start their business from their own money. In the second category, the people take money from others to set up their businesses. However, it is not about the money. Only those people are successful who back their ideas with a strong execution. Friedrich Christian Bhomler was speaking to a seminar at Sindh University, Dadu on Monday. The session, in which he was addressing the audience, was called How To Start Business. The seminar was presided over by a famous research scholar of business administration field, SU Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Anwar Ali Shah G Syed. Students and faculty members from various universities attended this workshop and discussed their new ideas for starting business. Bhomler said that by adopting new cultures, one’s business can be successful. He said that any successful business required one to adopt strong beliefs and a positive attitude, adding that a succesful businessman keeps embracing new trends in order to develop his business and to market it efficiently. The scholar also said that one should not compete with others to be successful, rather he should compete with himself only. He shared with everyone how he began his small setup of a solar system business and today he was the CEO of a solar energy company, operating in 40 countries all over the world. Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Anwar Ali Shah G Syed said that to become a good businessman, attitude and behaviour play an important role. Students received shields and certificates from Bhomler and SU PVC.
