MULTAN: The District Council of Dera Ghazi Khan has passed a resolution imposing a ban on growing beard in different styles. The resolution says that such styles which include French beards, a goatee and chin strips, etc go against the teachings of Islam and are actually against the Sunnah. It’s equivalent to making “fun of the beard”, the resolution concluded, which was chaired by Asif Khosa.
