KARACHI: The employees of small industries with All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA),Sindh chapter staged a protest rally and chanted slogans for the release of their salaries outside Karachi Press Club on Monday. “Hamain Jeene ka Haq Do” (Give us right to live) and “Hamare huqooq bahal karo” (Restore our rights) were inscribed on the banners and placards which they were carrying during protest. The employees grade from 1- 16 while protesting said that there salaries have not been released while the retirement, Pension, insurance and other funds have been seized for the last 12 months that have increased their troubles and turned their lives into nightmare. The APCA president,Sayyed Touqeer Hussain Shah leading the protest said that Pakistan People Party, who claims to be the champion of the farmers and labor rights has done nothing to solve their issues has rather increased them by adopting such behavior. They said that they have been living on starvation and the schooling of their children has been completely disturbed but the attitude of the government is indifferent. They demanded from the Chief Minister of Sindh and Home Minister of Sindh, Manzoor Wassan to resolve their issues within 15 days otherwise they will stage their protest at Chief Minister House.
