HYDEABAD: The Mayor Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Syed Tayyab Hussain Friday has assured the citizens that their complaints regarding cleanliness and demands for development would be addressed without delay. During his visits to the areas in city and Latifabad talukas, he said that a development plan for the city is being prepared. Hussain assured the people that all the obstacles would be overcome to provide services to the citizens. The Commissioner HMC Shahid Ali Khan accompanied the Mayor during the visits. Hussain directed the concerned officials to put in place strict security when the session of HMC’s elected representatives is underway in the Jinnah Hall. Addressing the HMC’s session the Mayor also asked the officials to provide facility of microphones on each desk of the members. The Mayor appreciated the elected representatives of the HMC for serving the people. During the session, the opposition leader in the HMC Pasha Qazi assured the Mayor that the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) elected representatives would offer complete cooperation to the HMC for the service delivery. The session discussed increase in the fee for the slaughter house on Tando Muhammad Khan road. Under the proposed fee, the HMC would charge Rs100 per cow and Rs 50 per goat in addition to Rs1,000 annual maintenance fee from each butcher.
