RAWALPINDI: A cake-cutting ceremony for late poetess Farzana Naz was held at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Friday. Head of Public Affairs, Embassy of Japan, Ashida Katsunori accompanied by senior poets Mehboob Zafar, Farheen Ch, Naveed Malik and RAC Director Waqar Ahmed cut the cake. Addressing the occasion, Ashida Katsunori said that untimely death of Farzana Naz had left a deplorable mark on literary circles. He said that her absence would be felt forever and she would be remembered by her colleagues. Mehboob Zafar paid rich tribute to Farzana Naz. Farheen Ch said that Farzana Naz earned fame in very short period.
