JACOBABAD: After a passage of two weeks, two abducted children Umar Qureshi, 15, and Owais Siyal, 14, were recovered on Saturday, both were kidnapped beside green market of Jacobabad two weeks ago when they were riding on their motorcycle. Sarfraz Nawaz Shaikh, SSP Jacobabad, on Saturday, speaking at a press conference held at his office said that, after the confirmation of kidnapping, Jacobabad police have conducted several raids and arrested many suspects from them three suspects including Naeem Ismail Raisani, one of the arrested suspects, resident of Dera Allahyar, and two locals was involved in kidnapping and due to police pressure kidnappers left the abducted children near police picket Nawra situated Kheer Thar Canal area of Baluchistan province and managed to escape, after leaving behind abducted children, SSP claimed. SSP further said that kidnappers transported them to Baluchistan and demanded Rs50 millions ransom money from the heirs of the abducted children. Replying to a question about transportation of the children to Balochistan, SSP said that investigation into the matter is underway. The heirs of the abducted children were also present on the occasion and expressed their happiness.
