ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly has been informed that various steps have been taken to improve performance of Islamabad Police. Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, while responding to a question during question hour on Friday, informed the House that modern reporting rooms have been established at 14 police stations in the federal capital. The minister said that receptions have been set up and human right officers have been appointed at police stations to ensure professionalism. He said that regular training courses are also conducted to enhance capacity building of the police force. Minister for Postal Services Maulana Amir Zaman has informed the House that a summary has been sent for approval to allot government residential accommodations to the employees of all the constitutional bodies, including National Assembly and Senate Secretariat.
