Chloe Fineman has quickly secured her next major acting project after announcing her departure from Saturday Night Live, earning a series regular role in Netflix’s upcoming thriller Myron Bolitar. The casting news came only days after the comedian confirmed she was leaving the long-running sketch comedy show following seven successful seasons. The new role marks an important step in her career as she moves further into scripted television.

Netflix confirmed that Fineman will play Parker Quinn, a determined sports reporter known for her strong reporting skills and dedication to covering the sports world. The series is based on Harlan Coben’s 1995 novel Deal Breaker and follows the story of a former NBA star who begins a new career as a sports agent. Television producer David E. Kelley and Kyle Long will serve as co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers of the series.

Fineman joins a growing cast that includes Jabari Banks, Jamie McShane, Colin Woodell, KJ Apa, and Diane Guerrero. Meanwhile, actor Ben McKenzie has been cast in a recurring guest role. The expanding lineup reflects Netflix’s strong investment in the thriller adaptation, which brings together several well-known television stars for the highly anticipated series.

Last week, Fineman announced her exit from Saturday Night Live through an emotional social media message, describing the decision as difficult but necessary. She said the show had become her second home and called its cast and crew her family. Although she admitted leaving was bittersweet, she expressed confidence that it was the right time to begin a new chapter in her professional journey.

Since joining Saturday Night Live in 2019, Fineman has built a successful acting career with appearances in projects including Babylon, Despicable Me 4, Search Party, and Freakier Friday. Her role in Myron Bolitar represents her first regular television series outside SNL and signals an exciting new phase as she expands into dramatic storytelling while continuing to grow as an actress.
