High-level huddle reviews ongoing counterterror operation in Balochistan

Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti presided over the 26th meeting of State Defense Conference (Hardening of the State Conference) in Quetta on Wednesday and reviewed the overall security situation of the province, ongoing measures against terrorism and mutual cooperation between federal and provincial institutions for peace and stability. The forum expressed satisfaction over the progress of the joint Operation Shaban (OP SHABAN) of the Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan and Police in Balochistan and reiterated its resolve to continue operations against terrorist elements more effectively. Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Khan Bugti said that terrorism was a national problem, to which the political and military leadership of the country was working jointly with the support of the people. He said that the miscreants and their facilitators would be brought to their logical conclusion and there is no place for anti-state elements in Balochistan.
