Initial investigations suggest an electrical short circuit in a ceiling-mounted air conditioner sparked the blaze before it quickly spread across the front stage area. As panic erupted, many customers rushed toward the rear of the building in search of safety. However, blocked emergency exits and thick smoke trapped dozens of people inside, making escape extremely difficult.
Authorities said one emergency exit near the kitchen was blocked by stacked beer crates, while furniture obstructed another escape route. These obstacles slowed evacuation efforts as smoke filled the building within minutes. Firefighters reported finding many victims near the toilets at the back of the pub, where frightened patrons had gathered while trying to escape the advancing flames.

Emergency crews reached the scene quickly and searched the smoke-filled building using oxygen equipment and flashlights to locate survivors. Rescue workers recovered victims from different parts of the venue as forensic teams collected evidence to determine the exact cause of the disaster. Officials said the investigation will continue before releasing final conclusions about the incident.
Meanwhile, witnesses described scenes of panic as customers noticed the smell of burning before the ceiling caught fire and debris began falling inside the pub. Survivors said heavy smoke spread rapidly, causing many people to lose visibility and suffer breathing difficulties. Families gathered outside the venue searching for missing loved ones while authorities continued identifying victims and supporting those affected by the tragedy.
