Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi takes oath as acting FCC CJ

In a dignified ceremony held today at the Branch Registry of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan in Karachi, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi took oath as Acting Chief Justice of the FCCP during the absence of Chief Justice Mr. Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan.

According to a press release issued here Tuesday, the oath was administered by Justice Kareem Khan Agha in the presence of judges, officers, and officials of the Court. Chief Justice Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan is currently on an official visit to Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation, where he is attending an international legal conference aimed at promoting judicial cooperation, exchange of legal expertise, and dialogue on contemporary constitutional and legal issues.
