PPP, IPP discuss govt formation in GB

An important meeting was held in Gilgit between the central and provincial leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians and the central and provincial leadership of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the prevailing political situation, public issues, the interests of Gilgit-Baltistan, and matters related to government formation in the region.

During the meeting, the leaders of both parties agreed that mutual cooperation and consultation are essential to meet public expectations, promote political stability, and ensure better governance.

Various aspects related to government formation in Gilgit-Baltistan, the future political agenda, and matters concerning public welfare were also discussed in detail.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was decided that all important political and administrative matters, including government formation in Gilgit-Baltistan, will be taken forward through mutual consultation, consensus, and decisions agreed upon by the central leadership of both parties. Both parties also reaffirmed their commitment to jointly contribute towards the development of the region, public service, and political stability.
