Addressing the National Assembly, Bilawal praised Pakistan’s military leadership for strengthening the country’s standing through diplomatic efforts. Meanwhile, the PPP chairman rejected concerns that the 18th Constitutional Amendment or provincial rights were under threat. He said the National Finance Commission award remains protected. He also noted that provinces deserve a greater share from petroleum levy revenues and other taxes. Additionally, he thanked the federal leadership for addressing concerns raised before the budget.
