5 Tips to Help Prevent Car Theft | Capital One Auto Navigator

An unusual theft incident has been reported in Lahore, where a thief allegedly broke a car window to steal just Rs700 in cash.

According to police, the incident took place in the Johar Town area of Lahore. The suspect reportedly smashed the vehicle’s window and made off with the cash that had been left inside.

Police said CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing the suspect approaching the parked vehicle, breaking the window and taking the money before fleeing the scene.

The video, which has circulated on social media, captured the entire incident and is being used by investigators to identify and trace the suspect.

Authorities confirmed that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway. Police are reviewing the CCTV footage and gathering further evidence to locate the individual involved in the theft.

The incident has drawn attention due to the relatively small amount stolen compared to the damage caused to the vehicle. Law enforcement officials have advised citizens not to leave cash or valuables inside parked vehicles, as they can attract thieves regardless of the amount involved.

Police said efforts are continuing to arrest the suspect and recover the stolen money.
