
Saudi Arabia has deported more than 7,000 illegal residents in a week-long crackdown on immigration violations. Authorities also detained over 10,000 people during coordinated security operations across the Kingdom. The move targets violations of residency, labor, and border laws affecting multiple nationalities.
According to Saudi media, security forces arrested 10,725 people during inspections conducted between June 4 and June 10. The operations were carried out in coordination with several government agencies. Officials said the campaign focused on enforcing residency and labor regulations.
Among those arrested, 5,899 individuals violated residency laws while 3,084 breached border security rules. In addition, 1,742 people were detained for violating labor regulations. Authorities said these actions were part of routine but intensified enforcement efforts.
Meanwhile, 7,989 individuals were deported after legal processing and clearance procedures. Furthermore, 14,268 people were referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents. Officials also detained 1,418 people attempting illegal entry into the Kingdom.
In addition, border security forces arrested dozens attempting to leave or enter the country illegally. The majority of border violators included Yemeni and Ethiopian nationals. Authorities said enforcement operations will continue to strengthen national security and regulate migration flows.
