“I believe it is a responsibility to myself-to not waste my precious life.” That was just the warm-up.
The Gossip Girl alum continued the reflective tone with, “In the immense hallways of time and of space, out of the fantastic number of potential lives and the infinite chain of accidents that led to this moment, I am here.” And in case anyone missed the mood shift, she doubled down with, “I breathe. The timing has not gone unnoticed. Lively’s post arrives shortly after legal back-and-forth tied to Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, in a dispute that escalated into defamation claims before ultimately being settled ahead of trial.
Her legal team had previously argued that the lawsuit was retaliatory and barred under California law – claims that were ultimately rejected by Baldoni’s side.
