Punjab’s drive to modernize and secure its examination system accelerated as the Rawalpindi Board enforced strict monitoring during the Intermediate First Annual Examinations 2026, including immediate action against violations.
According to a press release issued by the board on Tuesday, enhanced oversight through CCTV monitoring, standardized seating plans and coordinated centre supervision were being implemented to ensure fairness in line with the provincial reform agenda.
During field inspections in Hassan Abdal and Hazro, Controller Exams Tanveer Asghar Awan ordered the removal of a practical examiner for breaching SOPs, replacing him on the spot to maintain continuity and compliance.
Spokesman board said that the zero-tolerance approach, backed by directives from the provincial leadership, aims to reinforce merit, improve institutional discipline, and restore public confidence in the examination process.
The Board added that sustained monitoring and on-ground inspections would continue throughout the exam cycle to ensure a level playing field for candidates and uphold the credibility of results.
